Recreation Ministry

The purpose of the Recreation Outreach Ministry is to provide opportunities in which our members and their guests may participate in meaningful, leisurely activities in a Christian setting with quality and dedicated leadership. Through our Recreation Outreach Ministry, we seek to lead participants into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

*** Want to have a full day of camp this week? ATA Mass Defense Martial Arts studio will offer class from 12:00-3pm for just $30 more. Bring a sack lunch; snacks provided.

Upward Sports Ministry

Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for kindergarten through sixth grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. In addition to basketball, Upward offers flag football, soccer, and cheerleading programs.

Upward also provides opportunities for volunteers to become meaningfully involved in the ministries of our church. There are opportunities to pray, coach a team, referee a game, share a devotion, and develop relationships in order to open avenues of ministry to the people of our church and community who participate in the program.

Every child is a winner in Upward Sports Ministry! Make a difference in your child, your church, and your community for Jesus Christ.

Upcoming events this fall: Flag football and cheerleading

Practices: Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings 6-7pm.
Early Registration: before July 29 $70. per child for football or cheerleading; after July 29 $80. per child.

***Deadline for registration: August 18th.

Evaluations: ***Every child must attend an evaluation.
Dates: Saturday July 26 between 0900-11:00a.m.; Tuesday July 29th between 6-7:30pm;
Saturday August 2nd between 0900-11:00a.m.
Practices start: week of August 18th
First game: Saturday September 6th
Awards Night: Monday November 3rd

Coaches training for both football and cheer: Saturday July 19th 0900-11:30 a.m. and Thursday July 31st 6-8p.m.
