ABOUT PRESCHOOL CONNECTION
Preschool Connection is an exciting place for young children birth thru kindergarten! We focus on three important things that we want preschoolers to know before they move up to Kidz Connection.
- God Made Me
- God Loves Me
- Jesus Wants to be My Best Friend Forever
Through bible stories, hands on activities, and age-appropriate projects we repeat these important truths so the kids can understand how they fit into their lives. Preschool Connection volunteers and trained leaders provide small groups to make this a meaningful time for your child. Without the help we get from parents like you we could not offer the same quality that we achieve by partnering together.
Preschool Connection provides a safe experience for your child during our weekend services, Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Our doors open 15 minutes before each service.
Parents are welcome to come and participate. There are various areas where you can be involved. Small Group volunteers lead a small group on a weekly basis so they can be a familiar part of a child’s Sunday morning experience. Volunteers serve one service a month as helpers to a Small Group Leader. Large Group Team volunteers serve as storytellers, worship leaders and set designers. Registration Team volunteers welcome and greet the children and their families as they arrive for each service.
Partnering with Parents
Each month our First Look Curriculum provides a Small Talk poster for parents of 4 and 5 year olds, to inform you of the bottom line your child is learning each month as well as the memory verse they are working on each week. This poster is to cue parents in how to incorporate these basic truths in everyday life. Your child’s Small Group Leader will have these at the beginning of each month. If you do not get one, please see someone at the registration desk to pick one up to use at home.
AT PRESCHOOL THIS MONTH
We can’t wait for you and your preschoolers to experience what we have planned for this month! We are loving the “Come to the Castle” theme, not because we love castles but because we want to help preschoolers know the King that lives in the castle is our good, good Father! As we travel through…
