ABOUT ADVENTURE COVE
Adventure Cove is our large/small group environment for elementary-aged kids (1st-5th grade). But here’s what we really believe is important for you to know about Adventure Cove: When our kids show up on Sunday morning, we believe the bible should NEVER be boring, worship can be REALLY LOUD, and that the best leaders ALWAYS care!
We want to make sure that our kids experience the acceptance and joy of knowing their Heavenly Father. That’s what Adventure Cove is all about! Our purpose is to connect kids into a small group where they will begin to unpack what it means to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We want every child to remember three basic truths:
- Wisdom: I NEED to make the WISE CHOICES
- Faith: I can TRUST GOD no matter what
- Friendship: I should TREAT OTHERS the way I want to be treated.
In Small Groups, we want our kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, how to talk to God and trust in Him, all while building friendships that will last! Every week we connect our kids to the same small group leader, giving them another trusted relationship that will help connect them to a relationship with God.
Adventure Cove Times & Location
That’s why it’s important to make sure that your child connects at the same hour every Sunday. Adventure Cove happens every Sunday morning during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am services in the Kids Center located in Building 1.
Partnering with Parents
The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. What happens at home in many ways is more important than what happens at church! Our goal is to come along side you, the parents, and partner you in the spiritual growth of their children.
AT KIDS CHURCH THIS MONTH
Creativity is a reflection of the character of God. From the opening pages of Scripture, we encounter God’s creativity in action. With words, Let there be light, the poem of creation unfolds as light gives way to time, oceans and mountains form, galaxies are set in motion, and the earth is filled with birds, fish,…
