Nathan Blackwell is the founding and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee where he received a Master of Divinity degree in theology and New Testament Studies. He is also a graduate of William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Before coming to Saint Cloud and Cornerstone Church, Pastor Blackwell served as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of East Flat Rock, North Carolina and Bethlehem Baptist Church, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Pastor Blackwell was born in Slater-Marietta, South Carolina. He married his beautiful wife Trish in June of 1971. They have two grown children, Ashley, who graduated from the University of South Florida and Adrian, who is a Louisiana State University graduate.
